Who's Your Mummy?
This began as an experiment in make-up. The music is 'Channel 83' by Walter Sickert and the Army of Broken Toys Walter is the coolest shit you'll ever meet: musician, artist, man of kind heart.
This video contains some disturbing imagery. I couldn't watch a portion the video as I was importing it, and MySpace denied upload of the finished video, which just tells me that it's a damned fine make-up effect.
Version two of 'Fly'
Fly
'Fly' began as a stream of consciousness audio that I did to help myself learn audio effects in Audacity. I then worked in Garageband creating the vocal sounds and Oud loops to give an over-all hypnotic and somewhat dream-like effect. The video is primarily from my Fuji FinePix A345 with some re-appropriated footage from previous school projects as well as a background sequence of still images taken with the FinePix continuous mode, each image lasting four frames.
Version two of 'Fly'
Fear
'Dream (Fear)' is another piece about audio. I wanted to make something with surround sound (the web version is only stereo) and the most logical video to me would be one where a character was moving, the voice mob=ving around the viewer as it does around the subject in the video. Because people do not walk at a steady rate, I chose a "random" pattern for the timing of the shift from channel to channel, changing the levels based on the first 40 digits of pi.
